Who we are

This website is operated by Studio Up, a design studio run by Shiv Mistry ("we", "us", "our"). If you have any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, you can reach us at shivnmistry@gmail.com.

What information we collect

We only collect personal data that you choose to give us. When you fill in the contact form on this site, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Any details you include in your message

Like most websites, standard technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) may also be logged automatically by our hosting provider as part of delivering the site to you — we don't access or use this ourselves.

Why we collect it

We use the information you submit through the contact form solely to respond to your enquiry and discuss your project. We don't use it for marketing, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.

How we store and process it

Form submissions are handled by Netlify, our website hosting provider, which processes the data on our behalf in order to deliver it to us. Netlify may store form submissions on its servers, which can be located outside the UK. You can read Netlify's own privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy.

This site also loads fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests those font files directly from Google's servers, which may log your IP address as part of that request. You can read Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

We keep the information you submit for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your enquiry, and no longer than 24 months unless we have an ongoing working relationship with you.

Cookies

This site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. It may use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function correctly.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Ask us to delete your data
  • Ask us to restrict or object to how we use your data
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, email shivnmistry@gmail.com. If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
